Greg graduated from the University of Arizona in 2018 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering where he developed a strong interest in the field of biomedical imaging. He then began working on his Ph.D. at UC Davis and joined Prof. Fan’s group in January 2020. He is currently working on developing vascular magnetic resonance fingerprinting tools and techniques to investigate brain function. Through this work we hope to be able to dynamically acquire maps of brain vasculature and perfusion to examine changes resulting from cerebrovascular diseases.

In addition to his research, Greg also is passionate about STEM outreach and education and works with local undergraduates and high school students in the surrounding communities to promote interest in pursuing STEM related fields. Other hobbies of his include playing basketball, swimming, and reading.
