The Functional Advanced Neuroimaging (FAN) Lab develops advanced imaging methods to study human brain function and stimulate collaborations to improve cerebral health.

We are biomedical engineers and neuroscientists who create new magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and positron emission tomography (PET) technologies to understand brain function and disease. We are part of the Department of Neurology and Department of Biomedical Engineering.

Dr. Audrey Fan is also co-leader of the Neuroimaging Core of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at UC Davis, which is funded by the National Institute of Aging.
