Bio
Jessica received her B.S. in bioelectrical engineering at Hope College in Holland, Michigan. After graduating, she worked as an electrical engineer designing power and communications on K-12 campuses. She then decided to return to school to pursue engineering in health care applications. Now, she is a PhD student in the biomedical engineering department and a joint member of the FAN Lab and the Joiner Motor Lab. Her research combines neuroimaging with behavioral neuroscience techniques. Jessica is a recipient of the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship Program award (2023).
Outside of lab, Jessica enjoys climbing, running, and scrolling on Instagram.
