Quimby is a PhD student in the Neuroscience Graduate Group, interested in developing non-invasive neuroimaging techniques to study neurodevelopmental conditions, such as autism. She received her bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Cell Biology at UC San Diego, where she also contributed to research on early diagnosis and interventions for autism spectrum disorder. After graduating, she conducted longitudinal neuroimaging studies on sleep and adolescent brain development at SRI International. Her current research in the FAN lab optimizes measures of cerebrovascular function from resting-state functional MRI in pediatric populations. Outside of research, she enjoys comedy, volleyball, and Timothée Chalamet movies. Quimby was awarded the NIH F31 Ruth L. Kirschstein Predoctoral fellowship (2024).
